ASP.NET Validation - how to use Image for error alert

Image for error alert in validation
The following asp.net c# tutorial code demonstrates how we can show an image for an error alert in validation. In this tutorial, we used the RequiredFieldValidator control to validate TextBox. In the RequiredFieldValidator web server control, we showed an image for an error alert instead text error message. The RequiredFieldValidator web server control makes the associated input control a required field.

The RequiredFieldValidator ErrorMessage property gets or sets the text for the error message displayed in a ValidationSummary control when validation fails. This property value is a String which is the error message displayed in a ValidationSummary control when validation fails. The default value is an empty string (""), which indicates that this property is not set.

In this asp.net c# tutorial code, we set an image tag for the value of the ErrorMessage property. The image tag’s specified image will show on the web page instead text error message when an error will occur.
